  1. Description of Services

Chelsea Med Ed provides access to an online study submission and feedback platform for healthcare professionals. Users can submit ultrasound studies and receive advisory educational feedback.

Feedback is provided by Patrick Foster, a Cardiac Physiologist, Accredited Sonographer and Accredited Medical Educationalist practising since 2017, with extensive experience in ultrasound education and supervision across multiple professional accreditations.
Feedback provided is educational in nature and not clinical or diagnostic advice.

  1. Accounts and Subscriptions
  • Users must create an account and purchase a plan before submitting studies.
  • Access is manually approved once payment is confirmed (usually within 24 hours).
  • When a subscription expires, users can view previous submissions and feedback but cannot upload new studies.
  1. Refund policy
  • In England you have the right to cancel within 14 days of purchase (“cooling off period”). However, this right is forfeited once you begin using the service.
  • Full refunds are available for all plans within 14 days if no studies have been uploaded. Once a submission is made, the service is deemed used and no refund will be issued.
  • All refund requests can be made in writing to ptfoster@ic.ac.uk. Approved refunds will be processed to the original payment method.
  1. User Responsibilities
  • Users are responsible for removing or anonymising any identifiable patient information before upload, as outlined on the How It Works page.
  • Uploaded content remains the user’s property.
  • Feedback remains accessible to the user at any time through their account.
  1. Intellectual Property
  • All website content, branding, and materials are owned by Patrick Foster Ltd.
  • Users retain ownership of their uploaded studies.
  1. Liability and Disclaimers
  • Feedback and materials provided through Chelsea Med Ed are educational only and should not be relied upon for clinical or diagnostic purposes.
  • Patrick Foster Ltd accepts no liability for any direct or indirect damages arising from the use or interpretation of feedback provided.
  • We are not responsible for data loss, technical issues, or service interruptions beyond our control.
  1. User data and anonymisation
  • Users are solely responsible for ensuring that all study submissions are fully anonymised prior to upload. This means no patient identifiers (e.g. patient name, hospital number, date of birth) appear in the uploaded files or associated data.
  • Patrick Foster Ltd does not provide anonymisation services.
  • By uploading studies, users confirm that they have the right to use and share the data for educational purposes and that personal identifiers have been removed.
  • If any uploaded content is found to contain identifiable personal patient data, we may:
    • Immediately delete the content
    • Suspend the users account and notify the user of the breach
  1. Termination
  • Patrick Foster Ltd reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that breach these terms or misuse the platform.
  1. Accrediation and Supervision
  • Chelsea MedEd Partners may provide supervision, educational feedback and documentation support to help users work toward a specific accreditation such as BSE level 2 or FUSIC heart.
  • Patrick Foster Ltd does not grant professional accreditations. The responsibility for awarding accreditation lies solely with the relevant accrediting bodies.
  • Any signoffs or supervision provides through this platform are intended to support users in their progress but does not guarantee acceptance, recognition or accreditation by a third party entity.
  • Users remain reasonable for ensuring compliance with relevant accrediting bodies.
  1. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.
Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
